Insurance

Many Insurance companies require your primary care physician to refer you to a specialist, otherwise payment will be denied. Therefore you will need to verify requirements issued by your insurance company before calling for an appointment. Once the appointment has been made you will be responsible for attaining all pertinent medical records and bringing them with you.

Patients with Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial Insurance coverage must present their card at the time of visit and if required, a written referral from your PCP.

Northwest Arkansas Gastroenterology Clinic does accept assignment on Medicare, Arkansas Medicaid, Blue Cross / Blue Shield, and Champus. The physicians at NWAGC are contracted providers for many Insurance Companies, included are Aetna, Cigna, Prudential, Premiere Care and Health Source of Arkansas. All insurance cards are accepted and we will file claims for your reimbursement.
