1.) Does
my Family doctor need to refer me for an appointment?
Yes. At this time, we only accept patients that have been referred by
another physician.
2.) Do
you perform stomach stapling surgery for weight loss?
No, our physicians do not do any type of surgery.
3.) Why
do I need to bring medical records from other doctors?
Our goal is to provide the utmost in professional medical care. If records
are not available, treatment time can be extended waiting on records, and
the possibility of duplicate test exists.
4.) How
long will my appointment last? New patients (a
patient never seen or established patient not seen in the last three
years) are allotted a 30-45 minute appointment. Follow up appointments are
15 minutes.
5.) What
if I'm unable to keep my appointment? We would
appreciate as much notice as possible when appointments must be cancelled.
This allows another patient access to the appointment time.
6.) Does
anyone in your office speak Spanish? Though our
doctors have basic Spanish speaking skills, we do request a translator
accompany the patient.
7.) If
I am scheduled for a procedure, will you notify my insurance accompany?
Insurance coverage is a contract between the patient and insurance
carrier. It is the patient's responsibility to contact / notify the
insurance regarding a procedure or hospitalization. Our office will supply
the medical information as requested.
